Originally known as the Central States Dalmatian Association, HDC has been in existence since August 1981. On March 14, 1997, we held our first licensed specialty show with more than 100 dogs from 15 states. In 2004, our club sponsored the Dalmatian National in Lawrence, Kansas.  Club members are involved in conformation, obedience, agility, and just enjoying the company of these wonderful dogs.

Club activities include Dalmatian play days, picnics, educational events and assisting at local dog shows.

Our next specialty will be held October 10, 2008 in conjunction with the Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club All-breed shows.

Most of our members live in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.
